Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd has launched its first sub-1000cc big-bike in India – the GSX-S750 A.K.A the ‘Apex Predator’, which has been priced at INR 7,45,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
With a six-speed gearbox and an in-line, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, it effortlessly blends aggressive street bike looks with a user-friendly riding character. It has a 749cc fuel-injection engine that produces 84kW at 10,500rpm and 81Nm at 9,000rpm. The braking system is delegated to the NISSIN-designed Anti-lock Brake System that also helps keep a check on weight.
The GSX-S750 comes with a three-mode traction control system that ensures superior control over engine output in order to optimise power according to varying road conditions and help prevent the rear wheel from spinning. Mode one is for sport riding, mode two is for typical road conditions, and when riding in poor conditions then mode three delivers maximum traction control.
When it comes to design, the Suzuki GSX-S750’s functional beauty can be seen in its impeccably designed bodywork that features a chiselled fuel tank, a vented front fender, molded mirrors, and an angular tail section with integrated LED taillights. The Apex Predator is available in two colour variants – Metallic Triton Blue/Glass Sparkle Black and Glass Sparkle Black/Candy Daring Red.
