Samsung pulled back the curtains on the all new Galaxy Note9 smartphone with its whopper of a screen. Coming in with a super bright and brilliant 6.4” AMOLED touch panel and jamming more powerful tech into an extraordinarily thin and manoeuvrable form, the Note9 is Samsung’s best foot forward for the next year of competition against Apple, Google and OnePlus.
Early announcements peg the battery boost at a 20% increase over last year’s Note8, a significant bump to the all-important benchmark.
Galaxy Note9 will be available in India starting August 24. It is priced at INR 67,900 and INR 84,900 for 128GB and 512GB variants, respectively putting it on level with the price point of Apple’s iPhone X.
“Galaxy Note9 is a super powerful device built for people who expect more. For me, Galaxy Note9 combines the power of a laptop, media streaming device, power bank, external hard drive, gaming console, DSLR camera and a selfie stick. And this is what it will deliver to every consumer who chooses to move up to the new Note,” said Asim Warsi, Senior Vice President, Mobile Business, Samsung India.
