Kia Motors, FIFA’s official partner, will see six lucky children getting shortlisted and becoming part of the world’s largest sporting extravaganza the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia as Official Match Ball Carriers.
Six kids from all over the country will be shortlisted to travel to Russia for the tournament.
The Indian football captain Sunil Chettri conducted the selection trials in New Delhi on Sunday.
“I am overwhelmed to see the kind of talent these little kids have. They are not only just passionate about the game but are also well-versed about its nuances,” said Chhetri.
Over 50 extremely talented school-children from different parts of the country took part in the selection trials to earn a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The 'Kia Official Match Ball Carriers' campaign was launched across India to support and encourage all the young football fans with aspirations of being the footballers of the future.
