Netflix’s House of Cards has finally confirmed what most people had already guessed: Kevin Spacey’s character will not be a part of the next season, and will, in fact, be killed off. In the wake of the sexual harassment claims that have mounted up against him and the #MeToo movement, the only thing left to confirm his character’s fate was an official confirmation, and people got that with the teaser released by the official Twitter handle of the show. Though his absence was understood once he was fired from the show soon after the allegations came to light.
In less than 30 seconds they confirm what ‘you should have known,’ and have Claire Underwood, played by the formidable Robin Wright, stand at her deceased husband’s gravestone, and declare her ever-growing ambitions—all while shedding no tears.

The sixth season makes its way to screens on 2 November.
