The Aston Martin AM37 is the first powerboat to actually carry the company’s name and its iconic allure. A rare crossover that actually shares the automaker’s DNA, the 37-foot speeder has a sliding deck that lets you cover the cockpit without stowing things away. It’s been presented in two versions—the ultimate sports ‘S’ version which throttles up to a max speed of 52 knots, and the gran turismo leisure powerboat version with a max speed of 44 knots. The hull features a high-tech composite of epoxy resin and carbon fibre. Mulder Design, the guys behind the superyachts in Bond movies like Moonraker andOctopussy, huddled on this project with Quintessence Yachts to combine the features of a Lexus sports car with a luxury speedboat to create a unique hybrid. It’s equipped with interactive voice control, a fully HD-integrated 15-inch touchscreen, entertainment systems, a fridge, air conditioning and an espresso machine, all of which can be started and controlled through a remote.
